Diaporama of the 2nd project Steering Committee (31st of October - 2nd of November 2011)



The second project Steering Committee took place in Lesvos (Greece) from 31st October to 2nd November 2011.During three days, TOSCA partners have come together to analyse the activities undertaken by the project and the next steps to be planned.During the meeting, the new generation drifter developed by the project has been presented and tested. This state of the art system will enable to better forecast of ocean currents for oil spill tracking activities. Partners have also discussed the first experimental survey which will take place in Toulon within the coming December to assess the performance of prediction systems installed in the test sites during the first phase of the project.
