On 11 February 2013, at the request of the Maritime Prefect of the Mediterranean, French project partner of TOSCA project, Anne Molcard, scientific coordinator of TOSCA presented the first results of the project to the CEDAR management team. The Centre of Documentation, Research and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution advises authorities in the fight against this type of event. It must in particular provide them with a tracking of the trajectory of an oil spill. The meeting highlighted the contribution of HF radar to improve current models. CEDRE expressed his interest for TOSCA experiments and results, which could be included in the next major exercises against pollution in the Mediterranean.
